Project Architect/ Architectural Designer

We are looking for a motivated Project Architect/Architectural Designer

We are looking for an energetic Project Architect or Project Architectural Designer with one to two years’ experience in this role, to run medium-to-large scale projects independently. Experience in residential projects is beneficial. You will manage the workload of a project team, oversee team members, and engage with project-running duties. Responsibilities will include coordinating design team actions; running design team meetings; liaising with clients and statutory authorities; and developing architectural solutions from concept to technical design and construction stages. Experience of working to high environmental standards is advantageous. You will have a good understanding of building regulations and best practice and be able to evidence that you have the correct skills, knowledge and behaviour to undertake the role.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be well organised and able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines efficiently. You will be energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated, with an eye for detail as well as the big picture. You will be able to develop and maintain excellent relationships and dialogue with colleagues and collaborators at all levels, including our directors, management team, architects and the other departments in the practice.

Fluency in MS Office suite, Adobe CS and Revit is a minimum requirement; knowledge of Rhino, SketchUp, Vectorworks, Autocad and rendering software is advantageous.

Working pattern: this is a full-time role from our studio on Coate Street. We offer up to 2 days of homeworking per week, with core working hours to allow flexible start and finish times.
