We are delighted to be part of a multi-disciplinary team shortlisted for the University of Oxford led masterplan for Begbroke Science Park which will bring 2000 homes to the north of the city.
Our team, which comprises Prior + Partners with The Place Bureau, Alison Brooks Architects, Wilkinson Eyre Architects, dRMM, Gillespies (Oxford); Spacehub, Ramboll, Stantec, Hoare Lea, Keith Orlesky, Philipp Bouteiller, Pooran Desai, Transition by Design (Oxford); Transsolar (Germany); Usman Haque and Jonathan Rose Companies (USA), made the shortlist with ‘Field Evolution’ a proposal which will join up local nature, energy, mobility and civic networks to create a new civic neighbourhood which benefits from a culture of innovation and a rich local landscape.
The competition, organised by Colander on behalf of Oxford University Development is seeking a cutting edge vision for the 190ha site with the aim of providing a new innovation district.
