Bid Coordinator
We are looking for a motivated Bid Coordinator to work across the studio’s new business activities.

You will be responsible for identifying and presenting potential new job opportunities and involved in coordinating, producing and writing submissions in line with the practice’s vision and business development strategy.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and collaborative team, working closely with the Directors and management team. You will predominantly be supporting our London studio but will occasionally be called upon to support our Berlin studio and communications output for both.
Bid co-ordination duties
• Working closely with the senior management team to deliver high-quality submissions
• Identifying new business opportunities, including public tenders, OJEU notices, and competitions. Presenting relevant opportunities to the senior management team at weekly meetings
• Produce and compile material including but not limited to company profiles, case studies, CVs and team organisational charts
• Responsible for co-ordinating submission requirements for job opportunities for timely submission. This includes managing contributions from both internal and external collaborators
• Produce written content to a high-quality standard
• Maintaining information and workflow trackers in relation to bids, opportunities, ongoing and completed projects
• Responsible for the upkeep and management of a bid library, creating high-quality, re-usable content.
• Joint responsibility for the upkeep of Open Asset, our image database
• In collaboration with the senior management team assist in reviewing our current practices, identifying and carry out processes to improve the way in which we work
You may also be called upon to assist with the following tasks:
• Coordinate and write awards submissions for projects and bespoke profiles for the studio and key people
• Create and curate communications outputs across various channels including the dRMM website and social media platforms
Skills and experience
• 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role within the architecture or design industry
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills with an eye for detail
• Ability to develop and maintain good relations and dialogue with the Directors, management team, architects and admin team in the practice
• Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with collaborators and stakeholders
• Good at prioritising your time and effectively managing a busy and varied workload
• Ability to work independently as well as part of an effective team
• Flexibility and versatility including working on a variety of projects in parallel
• Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
• Strong graphic presentation skills are essential
• Fluency in Affinity or Adobe Indesign and MS Office Suite is essential
• German speaking is desirable but not essential
This is a full-time role with a salary range of £31k – £37k depending on experience.

Working pattern: this is as a full-time role from our studio on Coate Street. We offer up to 2 days of homeworking per week, with core working hours to allow flexible start and finish times.
