We are delighted that Better Queensway, our masterplan regeneration project designed in collaboration with LDA Design on behalf of Porters Place Southend-on-Sea LLP – a joint venture between Southend-on-Sea Borough Council and Swan Housing Association, has been nominated for a Pineapples award in the Future Place category.
The Pineapples are dedicated to championing great places. They were launched in 2019 by The Developer magazine in collaboration with the Design Council and are unique in their focus on celebrating places where people want to live, work, play, shop or learn.
The Future Place category which seeks to recognise a masterplan, planning application, action plan or design proposal for a place, whether in development or theoretical.
