From Forest to Frame: a Built by Nature event in association with PEFC International and dRMM
We’re so happy to be hosting this interesting and important event, taking place at dRMM’s Neues Schleiermacherhaus in central Berlin on 28 May.
Our first completed project in Germany reimagines a once-standing 18th-century building in modern bio-based materials. The CLT-structure addition completes an existing ensemble of baroque buildings for a community-focused church and there will be opportunities for building tours as part of the day’s programme.
The afternoon will begin with talks from Paul Bostanjoglo from Built by Nature Germany and Bauhaus Earth, Pablo van der Lugt from TU Delft and PEFC International, and Jonas Lencer and Tonia Tkachenko from dRMM. Following these is a documentary screening, drinks and the chance to look around.
Bringing together experts from architecture, construction, forestry, finance, and policy across the entire value chain, the event will be full of ideas and exchange about a nature‑based, climate‑neutral construction future.
