Martha is a Part 2 Architectural Assistant at dRMM, with three years of experience designing cultural buildings in professional practice, including at internationally recognised studios such as Kengo Kuma and Associates in Tokyo. At dRMM, she is part of the design team working on mixed-use masterplanning projects. She studied at the University of Sheffield and the University of Cambridge, receiving multiple awards including the Sheffield Society of Architects Award, a Cambridge Trust Scholarship, and funding from the Hilda Martindale Trust to support her master’s project, which focused on the abandoned site of the 1992 world expo, in Seville, Spain.

While at Cambridge, Martha led the design and construction of a pavilion built entirely from reclaimed materials at Jesus College, Cambridge. Alongside practice, she teaches on the undergraduate programme at the Sheffield School of Architecture, and enjoys painting, going on road trips, and seeing live music.
