Nazli joined dRMM in 2011 and was made Associate in 2018 and Senior Associate in 2021. Her vital role on dRMM’s nationally significant project within the Battersea Power Station regeneration masterplan has characterised her position with the studio, cultivating her expertise in data-driven standardisation across the team’s collective design output.

She has worked on several housing projects at dRMM, including the award-winning projects Harper Square and Trafalgar Place. As a result, she has accumulated in-depth knowledge on spatial organisation and residential design standards. Her work at Battersea on the residential scheme Faraday House spanned from pre-planning stages through to construction delivery, providing valuable experience on the complexities of site progression. Her project leadership on The Triangle – a residential scheme in Royal Victoria, Newham – involved day-to-day client liaison and meticulous project monitoring. Nazli’s leadership on both schemes has transferred to her work in streamlining dRMM’s wider project administration procedures.

Nazli believes that in-built efficiency brings about more time for creative development and is passionate about crafting systems that demonstrate this relationship. She manages data-input across all of dRMM’s projects, chairing CPDs and promoting best practice on design quality and standardisation. Through her granular project experience, Nazli has been able to implement studio-wide processes that identify setbacks at early stages and yield opportunities for optimised performance.

Nazli studied architecture at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and completed her graduate diploma at the Architectural Association in 2011.
