Elle completed her Part II at the Sheffield School of Architecture on the Collaborative Practice course. Her thesis project, undertaken with a peer, focused on the creative reuse of a modernist university campus into a community of low impact living, with a focus on natural materials, circularity and self-build construction. It was awarded both the 2022 AJ Sustainability Award Student Prize, and the 2023 Architecture Today Student Prize. Elle’s practice experience spans sectors, including workplace and culture, in both the UK and international contexts. At dRMM she is currently working on a commercial redevelopment project, for which she is acting sustainability champion. Outside of practice, Elle is a keen writer and contributor to the RIBA Journal. Alongside this she is an avid sportsperson, usually found cycling or running.
