Kallum joined dRMM in 2023 as a PII Architectural Assistant, and is working on residential and community centre projects. He studied for his Undergraduate degree and Masters of Architecture at the University of Sheffield. His student work took a key focus on designing for wildlife and communities in the climate and biodiversity emergency. His final project was a Biodiversity Action Centre which explored a temporary architecture for climate activists that eventually decayed as wildlife took over – now shortlisted for the AJ Student Prize for Sustainability. His final dissertation also researched the sensory experience of exposed timber in classrooms for neurodivergent students which he found to improve their educational experience. In his spare time, he loves to go for long runs, hike in natural landscapes, and paint portraits.
